Roger Edwards
From an early age Roger exhibited a great interest in art and now Roger devotes himself to stone sculpture. His subject matter is influenced by the lower forms of life which he kept in jam jars and studied when he was a boy. He tries to instil quirkiness and humour into his tactile creations.
His pragmatic father, steered him in the direction of medicine. Throughout his medical career he dabbled in painting, metal sculpture and ceramics. Now retired from the stresses of anaesthesia, the intensive care unit and running Worthing Hospital Art Project, Roger creates unique and entertaining pieces.
